Just 20 minutes from our residence, Montiano is a small village that retains its medieval structure. Here, you can visit:
- Montiano Castle, which overlooks the surrounding hill. Stroll through the ancient walls and enjoy a panoramic view that embraces all of Maremma.
- The historic center, where cobbled streets will lead you to discover hidden corners, churches, and small squares, perfect for a break and taking some scenic photos.
Montiano is also an excellent starting point for excursions in the surrounding nature, immersed in the tranquility of the Maremma countryside.

Magliano in Toscana: The City of Morellino
Heading south, you’ll reach Magliano in Toscana, about 30 minutes from Marina di Grosseto. This medieval village is famous for its Morellino di Scansano wine, which you can taste at one of the many local wineries. Major attractions in Magliano include:
